at the International Airport offices; or if you prefer,
at the hotel where you are staying, local airports or

* Minimum age for car rental
in Costa Rica is 21 years old. Regulations
about minimum age for renting cars in Costa Rica
* A valid driver’s license and passport must be
presented at car rental time.
* A mandatory $750 to $1500 (depending on the rental
car and car rental company) deposit/deductible is required
by all the companies. This must be put onto a valid
credit card at time of rental.
* In Costa Rica the basic insurance is mandatory, daily
amount will be $12 - $25 depending of the rental car
you prefer.
* Cars are limited to Costa Rica territory.
* Minimum rental is 24 hours. Minimum

* There is an extra charge for additional driver. Additional

* Baby seats and roof racks are available under request,
extra fee may apply.
