Day
1. Arrive to Costa Rica
A representative of the agency will greet you at
the airport and provide the transfer to your hotel
in San Jose, to spend the first night of your adventure
in Costa Rica.
Day 2. Rafting at Pacuare River
- Pacuare Lodge
Today your guide will pick you up early morning
for your 3-days trip to the Pacuare River on a whitewater
rafting tour, where you will enjoy an amazing rainforest
experience. |

The Pacuare River is consider one
of the top five rafting rivers in the world for its scenery
and rapids.
After breakfast you will be ready for your first Class
III rapids.
You will spend the night in the Pacuare Lodge, which
offers you comfortable rooms with Cabecar Indian style,
private bathrooms and hot water. The river guides will
turn into chefs and provide meals during your stay at
the Lodge.

Day
3. Pacuare Lodge
Wake up just with the sounds of the rain forest
and get ready to explore the surroundings of the
Lodge. You can choose a variety of hikes of different
duration, from short walks near the lodge to 4-5
hours hiking expeditions, or you can just relax
in a hammock and enjoy nature.
You will stay at the Pacuare Lodge, meals included. |

Day 4. Rafting
at Pacuare River - San Jose
After an early breakfast at the Lodge, you continue down
the Pacuare River, for more rapids, waterfalls and serene
pools. Stop by the riverside let you explore more waterfalls
and natural waterslides. After finish your whitewater
rafting experience, hot lunch will be served; showers
and changing rooms will be available.
On the return drive to San José, you’ll
enjoy remarkable views of Braulio Carrillo National
Park. Overnight in a hotel in San Jose.

Day
5. San Jose - Curu National Wildlife Refuge
Early morning departure from San Jose to Curu National
Wildlife Refuge. After a safety instruction you
will paddle about an hour along the coast to the
camp on Playa Quesera, a beautiful white sand beach.
Playa Quesera will be your base camp for the next
4 days. After dinner you can sleep in a comfortable
tent or if you rather you can spend the night under
the stars in a hammock

Day 6 and 7.
Curu National Wildlife Refuge
You will spend these two days exploring the area: paddling
to Tortuga Island and to a natural rock arch formed by
the sea and drifting through a mangrove estuary inhabited
by numerous species of birds and colorful crabs. Evenings
are free to enjoy the tranquillity of the forest and sea.
Overnight at Playa Quesera, breakfast, lunch and dinner
included. |

Day
8. Curu National Wildlife Refuge - Arenal
After breakfast at the camp, you will paddle in
the morning back to the main beach. Lunch before
continue to the hotel in the Arenal Volcano area,
where you will spend the following two nights of
your trip. You can enjoy a deserve rest at the hot
springs or just relax in your hotel.
Arenal Volcano is active since 1968, with occasional
eruptions during the day or the night, ash and
smoke columns, and lava flows, spectacle that
you might enjoy depending on weather conditions.

Day 9. Arenal
You can choose a wide variety of adventure tours in this
Northern Region of the country: mountain biking, canyoning,
canopy, hiking at the national park or to Celeste River,
horseback riding to La Fortuna Waterfall, Venado caves
or even if you want to keep paddling you can take a one
day whitewater rafting to Sarapiqui River or a kayaking
tour at Arenal Lake.
You will stay in a hotel in the Arenal area. |

Day
10. Arenal - San Jose
During the morning you can take a half day tour
or just stay at the hotel enjoying the facilities.
Afternoon return to your hotel in San Jose.
Day 11. San Jose - International
Airport
Transfer to the International Airport Juan Santamaria,
on time for your flight home.

This package requires a minimum of
6 persons, however some times it can be operated with
a minimum of 2; please contact us for more details.
Notes:
The last night in San Jose might not be necessary depending
on your international flight departure time.
